Watson's Radio Club

Gordon Rankin was a Watsonian who must have obtained an 'Artificial Aerial' licence before WWII. Apparently he did not continue an interest in Amateur Radio but became a professional engineer with the BBC. He was the Engineer in Charge at the BBC Edinburgh studios in Queen St in the 1960s before moving to England to work in the BBC World Service.
