Watson's Radio Club

Vic Muir, standing at the rear of this photo taken in the radio room with George Millar GM3UM operating, and Mike Senior, later GM3PAK, on the left, was a keen member of the Radio Club but did not get a licence. He won the constructors contest with a superhet valve receiver, no small feat.

Tragically, he died in a motorcycle accident shortly after leaving school.
